Nothing brings out the competitive spirit quite like a school bingo night, where staff, families and students unite under a single goal: yelling ‘BINGO!’ louder than anyone else in the room.

Brooklyn Middle STEAM School celebrated National STEAM Day on Nov. 7 with a multitude of science, technology, engineering, arts and math-focused events and activities that kept students busy and engaged throughout the day.

Widely celebrated by people in the Mexican and Latin American communities, Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, celebrations also took place at more than one school around the district in early November. 

While the 2025-26 school year is still young, Osseo Area Schools is already making preparations for a smooth transition to new attendance boundaries at the elementary and middle school level for the fall of 2026. 

Individual Student Reports (ISR) for students that completed statewide testing in spring 2025 are now available in ParentVUE under the documents tab.

At Brooklyn Middle STEAM School (BMS), seventh grade students in the Gateway Technology elective class learned the basics of coding in a unit called “Secrets and Safes.”
