I am a former student from BMS, and I would say that it is a great environment to learn in. The teachers and staff make you feel welcome every day, and they help you thrive in every way possible. If you see yourself as a leader, join AVID. AVID is a college and career readiness course you can take at BMS. It helped me a lot with handling my schoolwork and collaborating with my peers. AVID is a great class to take if you are planning on attending college in the future because ot teaches you a lot of things you need to know about working hard in high school and setting yourself up on a path of success. Michael Voightlander teaches 7th and 8th grade Avid, and he made my experience great with his kindness and understanding. I also want to shout out Maria Wilson, Jordan Futrell, Jacob Herron, and Hannah-Lynn Swoyer. They helped with lots of things in middle school, and they made it a very positive environment. The teachers and staff at BMS make the experience better, and they are so easy to connect with. If you want your student to have a great and beneficial time in middle school, send them to BMS!
